OUR MISSION
God has placed Connect Church in this place, for this time, to fulfill 3 objectives:
- To see people saved
- To see people baptized
- To teach them the way the Bible says we ought to live
Those statements are not original with us. They are tied directly to a quote by Jesus himself in Matthew 28:18-20. It is known as The Great Commission and in it Jesus says;
"All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen."
Connect Church tries fulfills this purpose and command by 4 simple words:
Link, Learn, Love, Live
Link - CC links together people who love the Lord with one another and with the Lord
Learn - Once we are linked we can learn as much as possible about the Lord we love and serve
Love - The more we learn about the Lord the more we love Him. The more we love Him, the more we love others as well. We desire a passion for God and for man.
Live - Everything we do inside the church we live outside of the church. The goal is to be the light out in society that leads others to link together with us and find out more about our God.
